Woman charged with knife assault in domestic dispute

CHATHAM – A Chatham woman has been charged with felony assault following a domestic dispute in a Village of Chatham residence.
State Police at Livingston alleged that Erin Cmuchowski, 23, stabbed the victim with a steak knife during an argument on March 1. The victim was treated for two puncture wounds and released at the Columbia Memorial Hospital emergency room in the City of Hudson.
Cmuchowski, who was charged with felony assault and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon, was sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
