Rockland woman charged in stabbing

MONSEY – Ramapo Town Police have arrested a Pomona woman on a charge of felony assault in connection with an incident that occurred in Monsey early Thursday morning.
Police were called to a disturbance and learned a man and woman had been involved in a verbal dispute. The man had what appeared to be a deep laceration.
The parties were not fully cooperative with officers, but police recovered a knife at the scene and arrested the 19-year-old woman on charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police did not release her name.
The incident was investigated Ramapo officers and the Rockland County BCI.
