KINGSTON – Ulster County’s Social Services Commissioner, Michael Iapoce will be reappointed to that post when the county legislature meets on Wednesday evening.
The legislature’s Public Health and Social Services Committee has unanimously endorsed his reappointment. He gets an “A-plus” grade from committee Chairman Craig Lopez.
“I think he has done a really good job and I think [County] Executive [Michael] Hein made the right choice in order to put him up for reappointment and we all praise that choice so he will be serving in that position again,” said Lopez.
The full legislature is expected to approve Iapoce’s confirmation for another multi-year term.
