State Police search for missing Cortlandt man

CORTLANDT – A man who suffers from mental illness and may be in need of medication has been missing since January 26 and State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating him.
Joseph Sharpe, 59, of Mohegan Park in Cortlandt was reported to have left Lexington Avenue in Cortlandt two weeks ago. He is described as being five feet-eight inches tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a white t-shirt, a black nylon jacket and a black baseball cap with “New York City” written on the front.            
Police said he may be in need of medication.
