Teen charged with making terroristic threat to Sullivan County school

GRAHAMSVILLE – A 16-year-old Tri-Valley Central School District student was arrested on Monday and charged with making a terrorist threat as a felony.      
State Police at Liberty investigated a threat posted on social media that appeared to target the district in Grahamsville. With the assistance of school officials and specialized State Police units that monitor social media, investigators were able to link the Twitter post to the teen.
At the conclusion of the investigation, the student was arrested, arraigned and sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail.
