Congers man charged with menacing with assault rifle

CONGERS – An argument between five men early on the morning of Saturday, January 21 led to the arrest of one of them when he threatened them with a loaded assault rifle.
Clarkstown Police said Kevork Manougian, 24, of Congers left the scene and returned with an AR-15 assault rifle that he pointed at one of the men in the dispute. The rifle was fully loaded and a round was in the chamber.
The victim, a 26-year-old man, was not injured. 
Manougian was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of an assault weapon and menacing.  He was sent to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
