KINGSTON – Kingston firm Wright Architects has been selected to partner with the city to redevelop 21 North Front Street, the site of the former parking garage. That facility was razed several years ago because of its poor condition and the property has been used for at-grade parking.

Mayor Steven Noble said architect Andrew Wright has developed plans for a mixed use project.
“It will include a parking garage, a multi-level apartment and
retail building as well as the potential for a hotel and apartment complex,”
Noble said. “What is really exciting about this project is that
we are going to have multi-uses, more parking and be able to help our
town to continue to be successful.”
On the upper level of the parking deck would be a park-like setting for people to enjoy the views.
There would be a minimum of 200 parking spaces included.  There are 120 now.
Noble said it is hoped plans could be developed and presented to the city planning board in 18 months.
