KINGSTON – Two Ulster County residents, who were on law enforcement’s radar for the last six months concerning drug sales in the Esopus area, have been arrested.
John Jernigan, 41, and Melissa Jansen, 50, formerly of Ulster Park and now living in Saugerties, were both arrested by the URGENT Task Force following their indictment by an Ulster County grand jury. They were each charged with felonies of criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance and conspiracy.
Both were held in the Ulster County Jail pending future court appearances.
