Three arrested following traffic stop in Rosendale

TOWN OF ROSENDALE – The Ulster County Sheriff’s office arrested three people following a traffic stop early Saturday morning on Route 32 in Rosendale.
Police say Jon Hutton, 21, of Tillson and Kyla Knowlton, 27, of Kingston, gave deputies false identities.
Knowlton was found to have an active warrant for her arrest and was found in possession of cocaine. She was charged with misdemeanor drug possession and false personation.
Hutton, who was found in possession of a switchblade knife and marijuana, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon both as a felony and a misdemeanor, false personation and unlawful possession of marijuana.
The driver, Angelica Como, 19, of Congers, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and traffic violations.
Hutton and Knowlton were each sent to the Ulster County Jail. Bail was set at $10,000 for Hutton and $5,000 for Knowlton. Como was released on an appearance ticket.
