YORKTOWN – State Police
say the man killed in a one-car crash on the southbound Taconic State
Parkway in Yorktown on Thursday was a 71-year-old Pleasantville man.
Trooper said Anthony Giorgio, 71, was driving when his car ran off the
road and struck a guide rail. The vehicle came to rest in the center median.
Giorgio was pronounced dead at the scene.
Also responding to the scene were members of the Yorktown Fire Department
and Westchester County Medical Examiner Sean McDonnell.
