ROCK HILL – The United Way of Sullivan County, Catholic Charities, and the Emerald Green Property Owners Association are teaming up to present the first in a series of Neighborhood heroin/opioid abuse educational forums for the county. This one is scheduled at the Emerald Green Clubhouse in Rock Hill on Sunday, January 8 at 11 a.m.
The United Way’s mission is to help educate and focus local Sullivan County residents on fighting the growing crisis in area neighborhoods and school.
Guest speakers include Martin Colavito of Catholic Charities; director of Adolescent Prevention Services in Orange and Sullivan Counties John Green; and Monticello Mayor Douglas Solomon.
