NYACK – Days after Governor Cuomo granted clemency to Judith Clark, one of the Brinks armored car robbers, State Senator David Carlucci called on the state parole board to reject her application for early release.
Carlucci said her crimes deserve no special treatment.
“We cannot have any leniency on terrorism, whether it is domestic or foreign,” Carlucci said. “There was no mercy to the victims that died on October 20, 1981 and there shouldn’t be mercy on the people who perpetrated that act.”
Rockland County Executive Edwin Day, a retired police officer in New York City and Baltimore, will join law enforcement officers from across Rockland late today (Wednesday) to show support for keeping Clark behind bars.
