Five arrested following Port Jervis drug investigation

PORT JERVIS – A no-knock search warrant at 225 Jersey Avenue in Port Jervis has resulted in the arrests of five people.
City Police and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Group raided the address in the early morning hours of Thursday, December 22.
A search of the residence yielded what is commonly called “an eight ball” – one-eighth of an ounce of crack cocaine, several prescription substances, $2,134 in cash, a digital scale and packaging materials.

Reginald Fletcher, 45, was charged with felony drug possession for allegedly possessing cocaine with intent to sell, and another count of drug possession for possessing over 500 mg of crack cocaine.
Jamarr Gooden, 28, of that address, was charged with felony drug possession for possessing heroin and cocaine with intent to sell, as well as another count of drug possession for having 500 mg of cocaine.
Samuel Labranche, 33, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession after a small amount of crack cocaine was found on him.
Justin Paduani, 23, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession for possessing a small amount of crack cocaine.
Kathleen Stockbower, 43, was charged with felony criminal nuisance for allowing Fletcher to sell crack cocaine at the residence in exchange for cash.
As a result of the search warrant, detectives also seized 346 decks of heroin packed into bundles and bricks, common street names for how heroin is packaged for distribution; 2.3 grams of powder cocaine; a half ounce of marijuana, oxycodone tablets, packaging material and $661 in cash.
