WHITE PLAINS – Three men
have pled guilty in Westchester County Court in connection with the beating
death of a homeless day laborer.

The victim, Jose Reyes Sanchez, was beaten to death in a wooded area near
Lieto Drive and Lexington Avenue in Mount Kisco sometime over the course
of July 4 and 5, 2015.

An investigation by Westchester County Police led to the arrests of the
three men.

Fredy Coronado Mendez Depaz, 36, and his brother, Mario David Coronado
Depaz, 21, both pled guilty to manslaughter, while Milton Aviel Ventura,
36, pled guilty to robbery. All three are from Mount Kisco.

Sanchez was repeatedly punched, kicked and beaten with a tree branch.
Prior to the attack, Mario Depaz and Venture forcibly stole his wrist
watch.

The Depaz brothers each face up to five to 15 years in state prison. Ventura
faces two-and-one-third to seven years in prison.

All three will be sentenced early next year.
