SHAWANGUNK – A 16-year-old Pine Bush girl was arrested by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of driving while ability impaired by drugs, and traffic violations.
Deputies said that shortly after 11 p.m. on December 3, the youth was involved in a two-car head-on crash with injuries on Oregon Trail in the Town of Shawangunk.
The teen, who was driving an SUV, was found to be operating under the influence of drugs. Police did not release her name.
Three people were transported to Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill for observation.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by Town of Crawford Police, Walker Valley Fire Department and Pine Bush Ambulance.
