SAUGERTIES – A Saugerties woman was arrested and charged with aggravated
driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence
of alcohol after a traffic state on Route 212 in the Town of Saugerties
on Saturday night.
Saugerties Police said Joanne Beaudette, 54, had a blood alcohol content
of .25 percent.
She was arrested after police received a civilian complaint of an erratic
vehicle driving on Route 212. Police located the vehicle and observed
the driver making several vehicle and traffic violations.
She was released to a third party pending a future court appearance.
