Pleasant Valley man apprehended during commercial burglary

POUGHKEEPSIE – A Pleasant Valley man was arrested in connection with a commercial burglary that occurred in the Town of Pleasant Valley during the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 8.
Just after midnight, Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office detectives were conducting an investigation in the area of Routes 82 and 44 in Pleasant Valley when they saw someone allegedly breaking into Brennan’s Grocery Store. Detectives apprehended Kenneth Hotaling, 29, charged him with felony burglary and sent him to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
