Body found in Newburgh, no violence suspected

NEWBURGH – Police in the City of Newburgh are investigating the discovery of a man’s body along the side of upper Broadway late Thursday night.
Lt. Richard Carrion said the preliminary investigation shows no evidence of violence. “It is showing signs of a drug overdose.”
Sources said it is believe the victim was a 44-year-old Montgomery man. Police did not release his name nor did they indicate how long the body may have been at that location around 575 Broadway.
