Monsey child serious injured when struck by car

MONSEY – A young boy is in Westchester Medical Center in critical condition after being struck by a taxicab late Tuesday afternoon in Monsey.
Ramapo Town Police said the accident on Calvert Drive occurred around 5:20 p.m. The cabbie was transporting a fare at the time.
Yosef Klyman, 6, sustained serious injuries to both legs and internally.
Ramapo Police continue to investigate the accident and said there is no sign of alcohol involvement on the part of the taxi driver, a 71-year-old Spring Valley man.
