Hopewell Junction woman sought on several arrest warrants

KINGSTON – The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office URGENT Task Force is seeking a woman wanted as a fugitive from Dutchess County.
Alexa Stefanchik, 25, of Hopewell Junction, was one of several people arrested by police on September 4 in the Town of New Paltz following a prostitution investigation.
Stefanchik gave police the name of a relative when arrested and later failed to appear in court. A bench warrant was issued for her arrest on a charge of offering a false instrument for filing and other crimes. She is also wanted by police in the towns of Poughkeepsie and Fishkill.
