NEW CITY – The judicial Review and Screening Committee of the Rockland County Bar Association has rated judicial candidates following interviews. As result, the association has recommended candidates for the bench in Rockland.
The group of attorneys rated Janet Malone, a candidate for Supreme Court Justice in the Ninth Judicial District as “well qualified.”
Howard Gerber, a candidate for Rockland County Court judge was rated “qualified.”
John Grant, a candidate for Haverstraw town justice, was rated “well qualified.”
Thomas Newman, a candidate for Village of Sloatsburg justice is “qualified.”
