Sullivan lawmakers approve contracts to build new jail

MONTICELLO — The Sullivan County Legislature today approved all contracts
to build the new county jail. They include the Pike Company as the general
contractor.
The vote was unanimous in the monthly Executive Committee meeting, which
precedes the full legislative session this afternoon.The resolutions passed
there as well without discussion.
Officials said to expect a groundbreaking in a month.
