WAWAYANDA – A Newburgh man is in the Orange County Jail following his arrest on I-84 westbound in the Town of Wawayanda.
State Police pulled over a pickup truck after 10 p.m. on Friday for erratic operation and investigation revealed a loaded .380 caliber pistol, 44 grams of powder cocaine, over 15 grams of heroin, a small quantity of marijuana and other drugs.
The driver, Carlos Colon, 31, of Newburgh was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, four counts of felony drug possession and unlawful possession of marijuana. He is being held without bail.
