POUGHKEEPSIE – A 13-year-old Ulster County boy is charged with making a terroristic threat aimed at Poughkeepsie Middle School Tuesday for writing a post on Facebook from “Kluster thee Klown” stating “If you want to die come to PMS on Friday.”
That was no laughing matter to Poughkeepsie City Police, who investigated the threat and on Wednesday arrested the boy. He made the post to prank classmates from his old school, police said.
He will be charged through the Dutchess County Family Court with making a terroristic threat.
City Police were assisted in the investigation by the State Police Troop K Computer Crimes Unit, Poughkeepsie School District and Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office.
