TOWN OF WALLKILL – A large response by State and Wallkill Town Police Friday night determined a suspicious package was nothing to worry about.
Police converged on 27 Connors Road in a residential neighborhood in the Town of Wallkill, but investigation revealed the package was just a bag of food, Chief Robert Hertman said.
Flashing red and blue lights from a half dozen police cars lit up the nighttime sky as officers investigated.
