Arrest made in bungalow colony caretaker murder

TOWN OF THOMPSON – The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest in the murder of John Ferrari, Jr., 61, of River Vale, New Jersey. He was the caretaker at the Pardess Bungalow Colony at 236 Old Liberty Road in the Town of Thompson.
Rickey Bolden, Jr., 36, of Bedford Avenue in Monticello was charged with murder and committed to the Sullivan County Jail without bail following his arraignment in Town of Thompson court.
The sheriff’s office is being assisted in the investigation by the State Police BCI, Forensic Identification Bureau and District Attorney’s Office.
Authorities have not released a motive or how Ferrari was killed.
