Police at crime scene on Thursday

TOWN OF THOMPSON – A caretaker at the Pardess Bungalow Colony 236 Old Liberty Road in the Town of Thompson was murdered Thursday and it is reported that police are questioning several people as the investigation continues.
The victim is said to be John Ferrari, a resident of New Jersey, according to those who knew him. He was reported to have been struck, possibly with a shovel. He had been reported missing a day before.
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation also involving the State Police at Liberty.
