HYDE PARK – The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into a car-pedestrian accident on Route 9 in the Town of Hyde Park at about 11 p.m. on Thursday, September 22.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Anthony Jennings, 22, was walking along Route 9 when he was struck by a vehicle in the area of the Culinary Institute of America. He was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie for treatment.
No charged were filed, police said. The investigation is being conducted by the sheriff’s office Crash Investigation Unit.
