NEW YORK – A man wanted for the August 1 murder of Deandric Little, 29, has been arrested on Staten Island.  Little was shot and killed on the corner of South and Chambers streets.
Investigation led authorities to Devin Isaac, 17, of the City of Newburgh as a suspect and a warrant was obtained for his arrest on a charge of murder.
On Thursday, September 22, Isaac was captured by the New York City Police Department in Staten Island. He was found in possession of a loaded handgun and is now facing felony weapons charges in New York.
He will eventually be taken to the City of Newburgh Police to be processed on the murder charge.
Police cannot confirm at this time if the handgun he possessed in New York City was the same one used in the Newburgh murder.
Newburgh Police were assisted in the investigation by State Police and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
