Dunbar
PORT JERVIS – A Port Jervis man was arrested on September 16 on charges of drug possession.
Tyrone Dunbar, 29, had heroin on him when taken into custody by Port Jervis Police following a surveillance operation. A subsequent warrant search of his residence turned up cash and heroin. He was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance as felonies. It is alleged that he possessed the drugs with the intent to sell them.
At the time of his arrest, Dunbar was under parole supervision until October 2017 for a May 2015 conviction for attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Dunbar is held in the Orange County Jail without bail because of two or more prior felony convictions.
