KINGSTON – The online opportunity
for Kingston residents to make recommendations about the city’s
2017 budget comes to a close at the end of the day and Mayor Steven Noble
is hoping to learn of their priorities.
The mayor anticipates crafting a sound budget for next year incorporating some of their ideas.
“This Friday is the last day of our public budget survey where we have asked the residents to help prioritize some of the major issues that they see in our community,” Noble said. “We are going to take all of that information, compare that with some of the needs of the departments and we look forward to delivering a really good budget in mid-October.”
Noble is hoping to receive some 200 responses from the online survey by the end of the day.
