MIDDLETOWN – City Police in Middletown charged a Middletown man with murder in connection with the death of his seven-week-old son, Zachary Heil.
Michael Heil, 26, was arrested on Wednesday following an investigation into the baby’s death.
Zachary died due to complications from a brain injury at Westchester Medical Center on August 22, 14 days after police responded to a medical call for an unresponsive person at the Heil residence in Middletown.
Michael Heil was sent to the Orange County Jail without bail.
