Dutchess Chamber named “Chamber of the Year” by state Business Council

POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce has been named Chamber of the Year by the Business Council of New York.
The award is presented annually to a member chamber of the state organization.
Dutchess Chamber President Frank Castella, Jr. credited the executive board, board of directors, sponsors and membership for the designation.
The business organization chosen each year must meet a list of criteria including displaying a positive social conscience and commitment to pro-business activities in the community and state; has an established reputation for delivering a high level of programs and services in the community and is active in state and local business advocacy; and shows fiscal responsibility for its members and community.
