The boys and girls, ages 14 to 18, came from Explorer groups in Putnam,
Dutchess, Westchester and Rockland as well as posts in Albany and Nassau

It was the 15th year the training has been held.

The future first responders learned basic firefighting and first aid skills
as well as long lasting friendships.
