MONTICELLO – The 2016 Clean & Tune component of the HEAP Program is now open and will remain open as long as funding is available or until November 4, whichever comes first, Sullivan County Health and Family Services Commissioner Joseph Todora said.
The Clean & Tune phase was developed to assist households who are homeowners that are HEAP eligible and have not had their equipment cleaned during the past year. Household that received a benefit under the Heating Equipment Repair and Replacement component of HEAP during 2014-15, will receive a contact letter from the state advising them about the Clean & Tune Program.
Households that did not receive a benefit last year may apply locally for the Clean & Tune phase. For more information, call 845-807-0142.
