GOSHEN –Authorities have a potential suspect in the latest Newburgh
homicide in the City of Newburgh, Orange County District Attorney David
Hoovler said on Wednesday. There has been no arrest at this time, though.

Deandric Little, 29, of the Town of Newburgh walked into the St. Luke’s
Cornwall Hospital Newburgh emergency room just before 8 p.m. on Monday,
August 1, with a gunshot wound to the torso.

He was transferred to Westchester Medical Center where he died.

Several police agencies are involved in the investigation to find his
killer, which is being led by Newburgh City Police.

This is the third homicide in the city this year.
