POUGHKEEPSIE – A warrant search of an apartment at 205 Winnikee Avenue in Poughkeepsie late on Wednesday afternoon resulted in the arrest of a resident and the seizure of weapons and drugs.
The Dutchess County Drug Task Force and Poughkeepsie City Police Department’s Emergency Service Response Team took Antoine McKinnon, 42, into custody in his apartment and seize five loaded handguns, a loaded assault rifle, and 10 pounds of marijuana.
McKinnon was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and another count of criminal possession of a weapon that was defaced for concealment, criminal possession of stolen property – the firearms, and criminal possession of marijuana, all as felonies. He is in the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail or $200,000 bond.
