Motorcycle operator killed when bike crashed into SUV

SAUGERTIES – A 42-year-old Hurley man died from injuries he sustained
when the motorcycle he was operating southbound on Kings Highway in Saugerties
crossed into the opposite lane and struck a Nissan Frontier.

The motorcycle operator, identified as Raymond Hull III, was transported
by Diaz Ambulance to HealthAlliance Hospital Kingston Hospital where he
died from his injuries.

The accident occurred at 7:06 p.m. Wednesday when Saugerties Police said
he lost control of the bike and struck the SUV driven by a 41-year-old
Saugerties man.

Why Hull lost control remains under investigation, police said. Anyone
who may have witnessed the crash or may have seen Hull beforehand is asked
to call Saugerties detectives at 845-246-9800.

Local police were assisted by the State Police Reconstruction Team, State
Police road patrol, Mt. Marion and Centerville fire departments and Diaz
Ambulance.
