Kingston teens charged in armed robbery

KINGSTON – City Police in Kingston arrested two men in connection with an armed robbery in which the victim’s bike and cash were stolen.
The incident occurred in the early morning hours of July 8 when the suspects allegedly pulled a gun on the victim in the area of Wilbur and Greenkill avenues.
Police investigated and identified the suspects as Joseph Nusbaum, 19, and an 18-year-old whose name was not released.  Officers recovered several pieces of evidence and the stolen mountain bike.
Both men were charged with first-degree robbery. Nusbaum was released on $5,000 bail. The 18-year-old is in the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
