Sucato
HYDE PARK – State police arrested a Hyde Park man and charged him with several crimes relating to the sexual abuse of a young girl.
On June 30, State Police Highland BCI in conjunction with efforts from SP Somers BCI, concluded an investigation into a report that Joseph Sucato, 30, had recently sexually abused an 11-year-old female while she was asleep. The victim was the daughter of an acquaintance of Sucato’s who resided in the Town of Hyde Park, which is also where the incident reportedly occurred.
At the time of incident, Sucato was under the restriction of an active order of protection for the victim and her family.
Sucato was placed in the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $75,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond. He is due reappear in the Town Hyde Park Court on Tuesday, July 5.
