CARMEL – A Town of Southeast man has been arrested following an investigation into heroin sales in Putnam County.
In February, a sheriff’s deputy assigned to the Narcotics Enforcement Unit developed information that a man was selling heroin from his residence in Southeast.  The deputy was able to make contact with the man and purchased heroin from him on several occasions in the next several months.
On June 21, officers executed a search warrant at his apartment and arrested Jason Inconstanti, 38, of Old Route 6 and charged him with four counts each of criminal sale and criminal possession of a controlled substance, all as felonies.  He was sent to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail pending a future court appearance.
If convicted, Inconstanti could face up to 25 years in state prison.
