Yonkers man found guilty in shooting death

WHITE PLAINS – A Yonkers man was found guilty in Westchester County
Court on Friday to a murder charge in connection with a killing in July
of last year.

Eryc Hairston, 26, was found guilty of shooting Kenedy Gonzalez to death
on July 27, 2015.

Following an intensive investigation conducted by Yonkers Police, Hairston
was arrested on July 27, 2015 in New York City.

Hairston remains in the Westchester County Jail and when sentenced in
August, faces from 15 years to life in prison.

Assistant District Attorney Jean Priso of the Homicide Bureau and Assistant
DA Adrian Murphy of the Special Litigation Section prosecuted the case.
