Bracelet stolen off three-year-old’s wrist at playground

NEWBURGH – City police are seeking the public’s help in locating a teenage boy who walked up to a two-year-old girl, who was playing with two young cousins on the playground at the Newburgh Recreation Park and removed a gold bracelet from her wrist.
Family members witnessed the suspect steal the jewelry and flee. The Hispanic child was not injured and family members were unable to catch him.
The suspect was described as a black male approximately 14 to 15 years old with a shaved head and slender build.  At the time of the incident, he was wearing a blue tee shirt, blue shorts and black sneakers. He is alleged to frequent the area.
