ALBANY – New York State Electric and Gas Corporation, and its parent company, Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation, have had three-year electric and gas rate pans approved by the state Public Service Commission.
NYSEG serves portions of the Hudson Valley.
Effective July 1 through April 30, 2019, typical residential electric customers will see a monthly delivery charge increase of about $2.20 in the first year with increases of $1.76 and $1.79, respectively, in the second and third years.  Under the company’s proposal, typical residential customers would have seen a delivery increase of $8.79.
The approved plan also complies with the state’s Energy Affordability Policy, which seeks to limit energy costs to no more than six percent of a household’s income.
