Rock Hill man arrested on drug sale charges

MONTICELLO – The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Rock Hill man Monday on several charges stemming from a three-month investigation into narcotics activity in the towns of Thompson and Fallsburg.
Bjorn Egenes, 27, of 139 Renner Road in Rock Hill was charged with the felonies of criminal sale of a narcotic drug, criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell and conspiracy.  Deputies said that Egenes was a purveyor of heroin and cocaine in the eastern half of the county.
During the investigation Egenes was found in possession of a stolen gun, a stolen ATV and two pairs of stolen skis. The gun had been taken from a residence in the Town of Bethel, the ATV was reported stolen in Pennsylvania and the skis, which were valued at $800 per pair, were taken from Holiday Mountain in 2013.
Deputies filed additional charges for the stolen items.
Egenes was sent to the Sullivan County Jail without bail pending a future court appearance.
US Homeland Security Investigations and Town of Fallsburg Police assisted the sheriff’s office.
