Myrtle Beach flights begin at Stewart

NEW WINDSOR – Attention golfers, tennis players and beach bums alike
– Flights begin today (Thursday) between Stewart Airport and Myrtle
Beach, South Carolina.
Allegiant Travel Company will depart from Stewart at 6:19 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays and from Myrtle Beach to come home on Sundays at 6:19 p.m. Arriving flights will land at Stewart at 5:39 p.m. on both days.
The flights are scheduled through September.  airport officials are hopeful Allegiant decides to bring them back earlier next year.
The airline has also been flying two days per week seasonally to Tampa-St. Pete.
Stewart officials continue to market the underutilized airport to grow passenger service and continue to improve infrastructure to accommodate anticipated new domestic and international service.
