Bronx man charged with unlawful possession of loaded handgun

GREENBURGH – State Police arrested a Bronx man for criminal possession of a weapon as a felony and misdemeanor.
Troopers stopped a vehicle at about 1 a.m. on Friday on the Sprain Brook Parkway in the Town of Greenburgh for having a tail light out.
They detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and an investigation revealed the driver, Saul Colon, 20, unlawfully possessed a loaded and unregistered revolver and an expandable baton.
Colon was sent the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
