ALBANY – A Kingston man was sentenced in federal court in Albany
on Friday to more than 10 years in prison after being convicted of using
the Internet to try to entice a child to meet him for sex.
US District Judge Mae D’Agostino also imposed a lifetime term of supervised release to begin after Daniel Jurow, 37, is released from prison. He must also register as a sex offender.
As part of his guilty plea, Jurow admitted that on March 12, 2015, he traveled to Colonie where he had arranged to meet and have sex with a person he believed to be a 12-year-old girl. Instead, he was arrested by law enforcement.
