MONROE – The Monroe Police Department is investigating a series of car larcenies in the High Street area of the village.
On Thursday, May 26 during the overnight hours, at least three residents had their cars broken into and property taken from them. In each case, the victims had left their property in plain view.
Police urge all motorists to make sure they lock their cars and secure personal items out of sight.
The detective unit is investigating the thefts. Anyone with information about the car larcenies is asked to call Monroe Police Detective Division at 845-782-8622 of the tips hotline at 845-492-TIPS (8477).
