GOSHEN – Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler meets with police chiefs on a regular basis, but he wanted to network with rank-and-file officers to gain their input on law enforcement.
On Tuesday, he held his third annual summit with PBA members to share ideas and bring the officers up-to-date on investigations.  Members even had suggestions for Hoovler.
“We had two police benevolent associations commented they would like to see a local law drafted to deal with spas,” the DA said. “Also we had an issue about how to handle scheduling of cases so it doesn’t affect manpower on the streets in each municipal location.”
Hoovler said he would consider drafting a local law regulating spas in the county.
